At the bbw University in Germany, students may enroll in a Vocational Pedagogy Major program, which trains them to become teachers in German vocational schools. To become a vocational school teacher in Germany, not onlymust you have the necessary academic certifications, but you must also posses adeep pedagogical knowledge. Adding to a teacher’s strength is hands-on experience working for a company. In China, however, the current situation isdifferent: vocational school teachers tend to have sufficient professional training and knowledge, but are lacking on the pedagogical front; many are unable to effectively inspirestudents, manage a classroom, or design an effective curriculum. At bbw, we believe that an implementationof our German standards could help Chinese teachers excel in their positionsand improve their teaching quality.

At present, we have established teacher training centers in Suzhou High Vocational and Technical School, Dongguan Technician School, Zhangjiagang Middle Vocational Technical School and Wuxi Public Training Base.
